Welcome

I just want to welcome you to my site. It is nothing fancy , but neither am I. I am a woman that loves her family and is going after a dream. I have alway wanted to be a nurse and the first time through college did not work at it enough to succeed. I am older, now and have decided it is time to go after a position that I do it for the love of it and not for money. I am doing this for me, for my family, and for the love of being able to help and care for others in an important way.

Upcoming Micro Exam

It has been a long weekend. I enjoyed it. We were able to eat dinner with friends on Saturday night that haven't seen in years. It was a long trip from my parents in Anniston, Alabama to Mobile, Alabama then next day back to my parents and then home. This exam is going to be harder. I have been studying all week almost, but for the next few days need to buckle down and study even harder. I want a 100 on this one. I can do it!!!!!! Either way as long as I give it my all and do the best I can, no matter what I get it will be a good grade. Please be praying this pace of work to keep my grades high is really tough. I am taking care of me, Matt is doing alot to help by taking care of Clay while I study and go to class. He is awesome and supporting me whole heartedly. He believes in me and encourages me. I am a very blessed woman to have such a man in my life. I would not change it for the world. I am happy with him!!!!!I will try to write more later. Right now, I have to study.

Feeling Good!!!!!

I am feeling good. I am doing it!!!! I am studying hard and getting the grades I want. Information Technology, Microbiology and Lab. So far so good. Is it easy? No. I have to work and study!!! I study hard and long. I do that and days are long, but every time I succeed it is worth it. I started this blog as an assignment in Information Technology, but have decided why not do it. I have done one and continue to do one that really needs to be updated. At same time, maybe it is time to change it to one more appropriate to what is occuring today.

I did my lab presentation, today. I think it turned out well, even though, the video clips I attached didn't work.

I got an A on my first exam in Microbiology!!!!!!!! Now, that is the best part. I am shooting for higher on the next exam just because I want it!!

I am hoping to do this all throughout the next year and acheive my goal of getting into the School of Nursing. I can do it!!!! I know I can!!!!

I love to dream. It is a coping mechanism of life and a way in which I tend to measure how things are going. When I can dream I doing well. Circumstances may not be the best or even that great, but I am ok and life is going well. I grew up dreaming of the day I would be married and have children and working as a nurse to help others. I don't know what happened but at some point the dream didn't change but the willingness to work hard for something did and when I was fresh out of high school, I made friends and ended up not knowing how to balance friends and studying. I goofed off and by the time I was settling down I chose something that came natural. I met and married my husband and it is an amazing thing to have a man that loves me so completely and supports me and encourages me. I have a child that we went through a lot to bring home and call our own. I have known times of complete happiness and times of complete sadness and all I want to do right now is follow a dream to a position of helping others. I have a lot of dreams and so does my husband and the majority of them are ours together. There is a difference between being a dreamer and reality. I think the two can compliment each other and make things better. I believe that living in the reality of the moment is great but taking every opportunity to go after those dreams and chase them down when we can is a must. God gave us our ability to dream, our desire to help and love others. I have trusted HIM and this is where I feel that I am on the path He has set for me. I am working hard to keep my dreams alive and I am chasing this one. I AM going to be a Nurse!!!! I will NOT give up!!!!
